The FEDE Language Certificate is based on the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Designed by the FEDE’s expert teaching team, this highly practical test is recognised by public institutions and job market actors. In addition to being an integral part of FEDE programmes, it can also be taken separately as a self-standing qualification.
The Certificate is officially recognised by the Institut de la Francophonie pour l’Education et la Formation (IFEF).
It both proves listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in a modern language and demonstrates candidates’ ability to function effectively in key professional situations.
Every year 7000-8000 people successfully pass the Certificate in one of six European languages (French, English, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese).
The test is aimed both at students wishing to boost their CVs and at active professionals wishing to obtain a job-market focused, internationally recognised qualification.
Nowadays knowledge of languages is not simply a bonus but indispensable for career growth. Knowledge of a foreign language is the road to cultural and commercial exchange, interprofessional dialogue and skills transfer.
The FEDE Language Certificate helps develop intercultural skills and promotes mobility and democratic citizenship.
