THE FEDE DOCTORAL SCHOOL<\/h1><\/div>

Each FEDE doctoral student is affiliated with the FEDE Doctoral School<\/strong>, which is composed of three research and publication divisions:<\/div>\n

\u2013\u00a0the Trends Division <\/strong>(luxury, design, culture and tourism), headed by Professor Jean-Louis Bischoff<\/strong>;<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0the Innovation Division <\/strong>(sustainable health, digital technology, technology), headed by Jean-No\u00ebl Vall\u00e9e<\/strong>;<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0the Governance Division<\/strong> (management, finance, banking, marketing and human resources), headed by Alain Tobelem<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Director of the FEDE Doctoral School is Professor Jean-Louis Bischoff, who also heads the Trends Division. He is assisted by two fellow Division Directors and eight further world-renowned experts with extensive academic and professional networks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

Jean-Louis Bischoff
\n<\/strong>Research Director<\/p>\n<\/div>

Jean-Louis Bischoff <\/strong>has a PhD in philosophy (\u00c9cole Pratique des Hautes \u00c9tudes) and is a French state-accredited research director (Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Artois).<\/p>\n

A graduate of the Institut de Formation pour l\u2019Etude et l\u2019enseignement des Religions (IFER), he is affiliated with the Texts and Cultures Lab (Youth and Children\u2019s Literature Team\/Centre Robinson) at the Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Artois.<\/p>\n

An expert on trends, Jean-Louis Bischoff has a long career in the music, communications and entertainment industries. He has been involved in a range of projects from musicals (\u00c9lys\u00e9e Montmartre), cinematographic productions (Max Linder), and communications initiatives (Carte Jeunes, Ministry for Youth and Sport, Lille City Administration, Fran\u00e7aise des Jeux).<\/p>\n

Professor Bischoff teaches philosophy at French universities and lectures on creativity and contemporary trends at the Institut Sup\u00e9rieur de P\u00e9dagogie (ISP), Paris, as well as at numerous art and luxury fashion institutions. His research focuses on the philosophy of religion, religion and the sacred in contemporary pop culture, the perception of trends, the philosophy of education, and aesthetics.<\/p>\n

Jean-Louis Bischoff is the FEDE\u2019s Director of Research. He is also Director of the FEDE Doctoral School and Director of the Doctoral School\u2019s Trends Division.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Alain Tobelem

Alain Tobelem has a PhD in development economics <\/strong>(Sorbonne, Paris) and is a French State-accredited research director for research projects in management (Universit\u00e9 de Nice).\u00a0He is also a graduate of Sciences Po, the Institut de Hautes Etudes pour Am\u00e9rique Latine, CELSA and the Sorbonne (Hispanic and Lusitanian languages and civilisations).<\/p>\n

Fluent in four languages (French, English, Spanish and Portuguese),\u00a0Alain Tobelem has worked in over 75 countries for a number of international organisations: <\/strong><\/p>\n
