Michel Maffesoli, founding member of the FEDE\u2019s Academic Council, a sociologist specialised in the imaginary, a professor emeritus at the Sorbonne, and an internationally recognised author, has just published his latest book. A socio-philosophical enquiry in 190 pages, it is entitled L\u2019\u00e8re de soul\u00e8vements [the age of revolt].<\/p>\n
30 years after the publication of Maffesoli\u2019s prophetic political work Le temps des tribus [the time of tribes], this new book conceptualises what he calls \u2018soft totalitarianism\u2019.
