Dr J\u00f6rn Buhring is an expert on connections between the creative industries and managerial innovation. He uses his expertise to help the FEDE\u2019s Chinese students prepare their doctoral degrees in cultural management. He tells us more in the interview below.<\/p>\n
What did you study?<\/strong><\/p>\n I have a bachelor\u2019s in hotel management, a master\u2019s in innovation and entrepreneurship, and a doctorate in business and innovation. I completed my doctoral degree at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia.<\/p>\n What is the focus of your research?<\/strong><\/p>\n Right now I\u2019m particularly interested in design management. I\u2019m exploring a range of methods that might give design a greater role in management.<\/p>\n What exactly do you teach in the FEDE doctoral programme?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n I explore the complex links between the creative and cultural industries and economics.
