{"id":38710,"date":"2018-02-16T12:03:33","date_gmt":"2018-02-16T11:03:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fede.education\/2018\/02\/16\/the-fnih-recognises-fede-degrees\/"},"modified":"2023-02-23T15:30:45","modified_gmt":"2023-02-23T14:30:45","slug":"the-fnih-recognises-fede-degrees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fede.education\/en\/2018\/02\/16\/the-fnih-recognises-fede-degrees\/","title":{"rendered":"The FNIH recognises FEDE degrees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Claude Vivier Le Got, Chairwoman of the FEDE and Lahcen Zelmat, Chairman of the FNIH, signed <strong>a cooperation agreement<\/strong> in Marrakesh to <strong>certify acknowledgement by the FNIH<\/strong> (National Federation of the Hospitality Industry) in Morocco of the following FEDE degrees:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Foundation Degree in Tourism and Hospitality;<\/li>\n<li>European Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality;<\/li>\n<li>European Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Spa Business Management;<\/li>\n<li>European Master\u2019s Degree in Tourism Management and Strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Through this agreement, the FNIH recognises <strong>the relevance and quality of FEDE programmes<\/strong> in terms of acquiring professional skills based on the needs of the hospitality and tourism sector, a particularly thriving sector in Morocco (2<sup>nd<\/sup> leading sector for job creation and contribution to the GDP).<\/p>\n<p>This acknowledgement of the FEDE degrees by Moroccan professionals is fully in line with the FEDE\u2019s plan:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>fostering students\u2019 employability<\/strong> by offering education curricula that are designed \u201cwith\u201d and \u201cfor\u201d the economic stakeholders;<\/li>\n<li><strong>actively participating<\/strong>, in cooperation with national professional federations, in ensuring <strong>clarity of the training programmes<\/strong> and international harmonisation of the reference professional pedagogical materials;<\/li>\n<li><strong>working with professionals<\/strong> to draft the reference training materials and to establish the evaluation and validation criteria for the degrees in order to pave the way for the careers of tomorrow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Zoom on the National Federation of the Hospitality Industry<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Created in 1962, it consists of 12 Hospitality Industry Regional Associations (ARIH) and hotel chains that count 3,600 accommodation units located across the various regions of the Moroccan territory.<\/p>\n<p>The FNIH acts on behalf of hospitality establishments, particularly in terms of representing them vis-\u00e0-vis public authorities, as well as training, advising and assisting them with procedures related to their activities.<\/p>\n<p>Working in partnership with the concerned operators, the FNIH is notably involved with training human resources, contributing to cleaning up the tourism environment, organising the hospitality profession and promoting Moroccan tourism.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fnih.ma\/\">www.fnih.ma<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Claude Vivier Le Got, Chairwoman of the FEDE and Lahcen Zelmat, Chairman of the FNIH, signed a cooperation agreement in Marrakesh to certify acknowledgement by the FNIH (National Federation of the Hospitality Industry) in Morocco of the following FEDE degrees: Foundation Degree in Tourism and Hospitality; European Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality; European Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Spa Business Management; European Master\u2019s Degree in Tourism Management and Strategies.
