Patrick Vieu, a doctor of philosophy and a former ENA student is a member of the college of experts of the FEDE; he introduces himself.<\/em><\/p>\n

Where and what did you study ?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am a graduate of ENA (the Gambetta promotion), and graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies in 1988. I also hold a PhD in philosophy; my thesis was about Adam Fergusson, a Scottish enlightenment philosopher.<\/p>\n

What are the highlights of your recent career path?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

I was in turn (2008-2011) director of rail services and director of transport services in the \u201cDirection g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des infrastructures, des transports et de la mer\u201d (DGITM du minist\u00e8re \u00a0de l\u2019\u00c9cologie, de l\u2019\u00c9nergie, du D\u00e9veloppement durable et de l\u2019Am\u00e9nagement du territoire) (General Directorate for Infrastructure, Transport and the Sea) (GD of ITM of the Ministry of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning). As a ENA\u2019er I also passed through the Court of Accounts, the Council of State and the administrative court.<\/p>\n

Have you\u00a0\u00a0also been\u00a0\u00a0a part of a political cabinet?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Exactly, in May 2012 I was appointed as an adviser to Fran\u00e7ois Hollande for the environment and the territories; in this role I worked a lot (among other things) on topics such as transport and ecological transition<\/p>\n

What is your professional news?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

As an adviser to the chairwoman I have taken a place on the General Council for the Environment and Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
