As a member of the CINGO, the FEDE is dedicated to advancing a new model for education in Europe by carrying out the following objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Bringing together universities and independent educational institutions in order to create a unified model of European higher education.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Promoting access to education for all, protecting the right to private education, and supporting intercultural dialogue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-2 fusion_builder_column_1_2 1_2 fusion-one-half fusion-column-last\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-margin-bottom:0px;width:50%;width:calc(50% - In June 2015, the Committee adopted its <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Action Plan 2015 \u2013 2017.<\/span> Towards this goal, the Committee\u2019s work will focus on the following four themes:<br \/>\n<strong>\u2013 Teachers interacting with the social and cultural environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What is the role of the teacher in the 21st century? What support can be given to teachers, head teachers, local councilors, political authorities, and members of NGOs?<br \/>\n<strong>\u2013 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Effective use of digital media within educational practice<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What is the impact of media digitalisation on educational practices in Europe, on \u00ab living together \u00bb, on intercultural dialogue, on the history of Europe, and on education in general? What role can education play in digital media ?<br \/>\n\u2013 <strong>The teaching of history<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What is the role of history in education? What is the role of history in the construction of European citizenship?<br \/>\n<strong>\u2013 The teaching of intercultural dialogue \u2013 Living together in Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What are appropriate practices in intercultural education?
