OVERVIEW OF THE INSTITUTION

The Institut de Reiki is a private institute of higher education that has been teaching reikiology – hands-on therapeutic meditative relaxation – for 18 years.

Traditional Reiki, which was developed in Japan at the beginning of the twentieth century, has been brought up to date by the Institut de Reiki, which combines the initial teachings of the founder with ideas taken from phenomenology, neuroscience and contemporary meditation-based psychology. This combined approach is known as reikiology.

The Institut’s IPCF- and PSI-certified instructors provide first-rate teaching to ensure students master the necessary techniques. The efficacy of Reikiology in reducing stress and increasing well-being has been clinically proven by an ISO 9001-certified laboratory and approved by the French Ministry of Health.

Graduates of the Institut de Reiki are psychological practitioners, as well as energetics and somatotherapy specialists. The therapeutic approach taught combines western and eastern sciences, along with general knowledge of human health and holistic knowledge of the functioning of the human organism. It is possible to take additional courses in psychological support and meditation instruction.
