The FEDE attending the EPALE conference

On 26 April 2018 the European Commission’s EPALE (Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe) held its seventh thematic conference on the theme ‘Action culturelle: quelles démarches pédagogiques pour l'éducation des adultes?’ [Cultural action: different pedagogical approaches to adult education]. Held in Paris, the event brought together various European educational and cultural actors, resulting in a highly productive exchange of ideas. The FEDE was an active participant at the event, which was also attended by representatives of the Erasmus programme, UNESCO, Transplanisphère, the Ligue de l’enseignement Nord-Pas-de-Calais [Nord-Pas-de-Calais Teaching League] and members of civil society. Jeanne Courouble: a multitalented entrepreneur

Jean-Michel Delaplagne has two passions: education and football

Jean-Michel Delaplagne, former General Secretary of the FEDE, has recently published a book entitled ETG : un rêve inachevé [Evian TG: an Unfinished Dream]. The book, which includes a preface by Jean-Michel Aulas, chairman of Olympique Lyonnais, talks football in a highly thoughtful way, taking into account the financial, managerial and social challenges clubs face. The aim is clear: to show the similarities between the management of a football club and the management of a large company.
