Ecole Internationale de Gemmologie de Monaco

EIG MONACO

MONACO | MONACO

OVERVIEW OF THE INSTITUTION

The EIG Monaco is one of the few schools in Europe to offer specialised, professional training courses with an international dimension in the jewellery and gemmology sector.

Founded in 2007, the International School of Gemmology of Monaco opened its doors in the Principality, the nerve centre of luxury and the Watchmaking, Jewellery, and Silverware universe, to meet the needs of professionals. EIG Monaco trains future jeweller-gemmologist with a practical approach to appraisal.

Since the dawn of time, gemstones have been the memory of our planet. They play a major role in the history of mankind, symbolising power and wealth for some, beauty, luxury and seduction for others, and the passion to seek, find and buy that unique jewel. The two worlds of coloured gemstones and diamonds collide with gemology and fine jewellery.

The infinite variety of colours in coloured stones gives jewellers absolute freedom when it comes to their creations.
