The three developments concerning the Council of Europe’s work on education provision for refugees

In November, the Council of Europe has worked strongly on education provision for refugees. The Lisbon Recognition Convention Committee adopted a Recommendation on Recognition of Qualifications held by Refugees, Displaced Persons and Persons in a Refugee-like Situation, established in conjunction with UNESCO. The document is available in English, French, Russian and Spanish, through  https://www.coe.int/fr/web/education/-/new-recommendation-on-recognition-of-qualifications-held-by-refugees  The presentation video of the European Qualifications Passport for Refugees (EQPR) has been launched: https://www.coe.int/fr/web/education/-/launch-of-docentary-on-the-project-european-qualifications-passport-for-refugees- The Council of Europe launched a Toolkit designed to assist organisations that provide language support for refugees, and especially the volunteers working for them. The FEDE in Marrakesh (Morocco)

Received by the French Institute of Marrakesh (Maison Denise Masson), Claude Vivier Le Got (Chairwoman), Olivier Perotto (Deputy Director) and a delegation from FEDE Morocco (François Guyomar and Nisrine Zdak) were in Marrakesh for the launch of the annual cycle of regional seminars in Morocco. Success for the FEDE Study Day

On Tuesday 7 November, between 9.00-5.00pm, the FEDE organized a study day in the prestigious Colbert hall of the 9th arrondissement of Paris, entitled "Education, religion and business". Sponsored by Professor Maffesoli, CNRS administrator and professor emeritus at the Sorbonne and Delphine Bürkli, mayor of the 9th district and regional councillor of the Ile-de-France region, this day, hallmarked by four round table discussions gathered together nearly 200 people. Among them were Marie-José Lowe's German students (Merz-Schule Stuttgart), Jocelyne Chelin (Training City Manager), Farhang Ghassemi (CEO of the Cogefi Training Group) and Jean-Luc Collet (Director of ICOGES).
